is a boutique seasoning and gift shop providing unique finds, kitchen accessories, custom gift boxes or baskets and features our signature savory blend: Herbed Salt No. 1. 

How Did We Get Started?

Creating delicious giftable food has always been a hobby of mine. I absolutely love to create and beautifully wrap these gifts for my friends and family. More recently, I began to get requests for my creations for others to give as gifts. With encouragement from close friends and family, I decided to launch my business in 2021. I've been selling my products in locally-owned retail shops, supplying caterers, as well as filling direct-to-customer orders in the greater Chattanooga area.

Why Wild Persimmon?

Just before I started the business, my husband and I purchased a piece of property, where I discovered several wild persimmon trees. When I was a young girl, I loved eating the tiny, sweet, unusual fruit off of trees on my family farm. So these tiny fruits became my inspiration. I created my logo and business name, and Wild Persimmon Gifts was born! 

What Do You Sell?

Herbed Salt No. 1 is our flagship seasoning and is a blend of herbs and seasonings that will make your mouth want more! Adding depth of flavor without adding heat makes this the perfect addition to almost any savory recipe, and makes it a hit with kids. Several customers have shared that their kids never ate vegetables willingly until they started using Herbed Salt No. 1 at mealtime. Now they eat anything! We also create specialty gift baskets for corporate, office, or teacher gifts, as well as curate beautiful and unusual salt pots, jars, seasoning grinders and shakers for sale. We will be adding more of these options to our website soon. 

Will You Make More Blends? 

We plan to add more savory and sweet seasoning blends to our collection as we complete the testing for each flavor. If you have any ideas for a blend you'd like to see us carry, send us a message! 

How Do I Place a Custom or Gift Basket Order?

Message us through the contact us page, social media, email or our phone number! We love to fill your special orders! 

How Do I Return a Damaged Item?

We do our best to ensure that your items arrive in good condition. If a product, item or packaging is defective, please message us directly for resolution to your issue. If your order was damaged in shipping, please let us know immediately and file an insurance claim with the carrier (all our shipping methods are insured).
